When is the Strategy & Innovation Institute?

The institute will be held June 6-7, 2017.

Sessions are currently scheduled to begin at 8:30 am on Tuesday, June 6, and the institute will end around 4:00 pm on Wednesday, June 7.

Where will the institute be held?

The institute will be held at the Sheraton New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. The hotel is located at:

How do I register?

There are three ways to register for the 2017 Strategy & Innovation Institute:

  1. You can register for the event online here.
  2. You can download a registration form, which can be faxed to 717-334-0538 or mailed to:

  3. You can register by phone by calling the OPEN MINDS Education Events team at 717-334-1329 or 877-350-6463. Regular business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Eastern.
What does the institute registration include?

Your institute registration includes:

  • Access to all institute sessions on June 6 and 7
  • Admission to the Institute Exhibit Hall on June 6 and 7
  • Handouts and presentations from all sessions
  • Breakfast on June 6 and 7 and an invitation to our private networking reception on June 6
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

Yes, you will receive a confirmation email from the OPEN MINDS Education Events team. The e-mail will ask you to review the information that will appear on your attendee badge, and list other pertinent information related to the institute.

What is your cancellation/substitution policy?

Individual Registration Guidelines: Requests for refunds must be received in writing at least 30 days prior to the event and are subject to an administrative charge of $50. No refund will be made less than 30 days prior to the event. Substitute enrollment for another OPEN MINDS event on another date will be accepted for an administrative fee of $25, plus the difference in registration fees. An alternate individual may attend in place of the registered attendee for a $25 administrative fee.

Group Registration Guidelines: Requests for refunds are not accepted for group purchases. Replacement registrants are accepted at no additional charge. Unused registrations for a particular event will be added to a group registration subscription for the organization to use for an alternate OPEN MINDS event within one (1) calendar year from the date of purchase. Refunds will not be given for any unused registrations after the subscription expires.

Are there scholarships available?

A select number of scholarships and volunteer opportunities are available. If you are interested, please contact our Education Events team by e-mail at events@openminds.com or by telephone at 717-334-1329.

How do I check-in once I get to the institute?

The OPEN MINDS Strategy & Innovation Institute will be held on the 5th floor of the Sheraton New Orleans. Follow signs to the registration table.

If you have any difficulty, all OPEN MINDS staff will be wearing a blue name badge and will be able to assist you.

Registration will begin at 7:30 am on Tuesday, June 6. At the registration desk, you will receive a name badge, program guide, and a variety of materials from our sponsors.

Where can I get handouts from the presentations?

Handouts and presentations will be posted online during the institute. The link to the presentations will be included in the attendee program guide and will be e-mailed to all attendees after the event.

Where can I get an updated agenda for the institute?

The most updated agenda for the institute can be found on the institute website at http://strategy.openminds.com//agenda/. The posted agenda is subject to change; continue to check back for updates!

How can I learn more about the event sponsors?

Many of the institute sponsors will have a booth in the Exhibit Hall. There will also be handouts from each sponsor and exhibitor in the attendee bags that you receive at registration.

I couldn’t attend the institute, can I still get copies of the presentations?

All handouts, presentations, and materials from the sessions are available to Premium OPEN MINDS Circle members. After the institute, the presentations will be posted on the event website and in the OPEN MINDS Circle Library.
