Peter O’Neill

Peter O’Neill is the Associate Director of Reimbursement and Health Policy at Neuronetics, Inc. (NeuroStar TMS Therapy) He hails from Belfast, Ireland and is a Registered Nurse. He trained in London, England and has 25+ years of experience in Managed Care Account Management with US Government and Commercial Insurance companies. Prior to this, Peter was a Managed Care executive in the Diabetes division with Medtronic, bringing Insulin Pump, Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Artificial Pancreas products to market. His focus includes Medical Policy development, Health Economics, and Reimbursement and Coding for Medical Device companies with emerging or established medical technologies/ products. Among his major areas of expertise are: Clearing the appropriate Coding pathways for innovative products by securing their optimal payment positioning in the various payer markets. Establishing Medical Policy and Coverage with Payer Medical Directors / P&T committees. Education of Clinical Efficacy and Economic Effectiveness of new medical technology, medical devices and therapies with C-level at the payer community. Pull-through action plans with market focused initiatives that are mapped against the underlying needs and expectations of progressive sales organizations. KOL development and consumer support for adoption of new technology, medical device and therapies to ensure positive on-boarding and maximize clinical and quality of life outcomes.
