Danny Rickert

Danny Rickert received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and Marketing from the University of South Alabama. He spent the first 13 years of his career with PrimeHealth, a managed care organization based in Mobile, AL. During his time with PrimeHealth he served several roles, including Director of Operations and Marketing Director. Some of his accomplishments included, developing multiple new products, negotiating a joint venture with Columbia/HCA, and helping develop the first Medicaid managed care plan in Alabama. For the last 13 years Danny has been with the University of South Alabama Health System in several roles, including Director of Marketing and Business Development, Administrator for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Associate Administrator for External Affiliates. For the last two years he has been primarily involved in the development of Gulf Coast Regional Care Organization. Gulf Coast Regional Care Organization is a provider sponsored, community led managed care organization that will serve 110,000 Medicaid recipients in southern Alabama. In December, 2014, Danny was named Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Coast RCO by the Gulf Coast Regional Care Organization Board of Directors.
