Andy Cooper is the Assistant Vice President of Community Counseling at OhioGuidestone.
Andy received his Bachelor’s degree with dual majors in Psychology and Business Administration from Ohio Northern University and his Master of Science in Education from the University of Dayton. Additionally, Andy has completed programs in Emerging Leadership through Baldwin Wallace University’s School of Business and a two year Executive Leadership program through The University of Michigan and the Alliance for Family and Children.
Andy has 25 years of experience in residential treatment and counseling. He has spent the last 18 years in various leadership roles helping to establish OhioGuidestone as one of Ohio’s largest Behavioral and Mental Health Organizations for families, children and adults. Andy has been recognized by OhioGuidestone for his contributions during his years of service, receiving the Agency Collaboration Award, CEO Award for Outstanding Leadership and Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award over the course of his time at the agency.
Actively involved in his community, Andy was also recognized for Outstanding Volunteer Leadership for his work as a board member of the Euclid, Ohio YMCA.
Andy Lives in Bay Village, Ohio with his two children, Lilah and Owen.
