As Vice President of Communications and Strategy for Centerstone, Aaron Campbell guides enterprise strategy and business plan development, ensuring communications are strategic, informative, and effective. His work fosters a vibrant culture and a deep connection to the organization’s mission, strategy, and leadership.

Previously, Aaron served as Associate Vice President at Jarrard, Inc., a top 10 U.S. healthcare communications consultancy specializing in change management, crisis navigation, strategic positioning, and M&A for providers. At Jarrard, he guided healthcare leaders through significant changes,  challenges, and opportunities — leveraging his personal and professional passion for improving the human experience in healthcare. His efforts led to new clients, projects, and the development of a service line focused on enhancing experiences.

Aaron began his career 20 years ago in various legislative roles for Governor Phil Bredesen, including legislative outreach coordinator for the state’s Medicaid program, legislative liaison for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, and legislative director for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services.

After nearly eight years in state government, he served as director of TANN, a statewide HIV/AIDS advocacy association, and served as public policy director for NashvilleCARES, Tennessee’s largest AIDS Service Organization.

Inspired by his challenging childhood and personal experiences caring for his grandmother and aunt, Aaron leverages his passion and expertise to help healthcare leaders develop thoughtful strategies, cultivate inclusive cultures, and use strategic communications, grassroots engagement and advocacy to create and sustain meaningful change.
