Cheryl Fisher, M.Ed, LPC, is Sr. Director of Foster Care and Child Welfare for Cenpatico. Cenpatico’s expertise lies in managing benefits for high-needs populations. The organization’s healthcare specialties include behavioral health, foster care, school-based services, specialty therapy and rehabilitation and more. Cheryl joined Cenpatico in 2010 as the Clinical Manager for Foster Care in Texas and is currently the Senior Director for Cenpatico’s national Foster Care and Child Welfare programs. Prior to Cenpatico, Cheryl was a therapist for the Victim Assistance Centre in Houston, Texas, where she provided counseling services focusing on child victims of physical and sexual abuse. She later worked as a Program Administrator for community mental health center providing clinical oversight to behavioral health skills training and case management programs for adults and children. Cheryl has over 15 years of experience serving children with behavioral health conditions and emotional disturbances. Cheryl received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas, and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Houston.
