Todd Landry brings extensive experience in child and family social services and business to Lena Pope. His professional accomplishments are recognized nationally and led to his appointment as Director of Nebraska’s Division of Children and Family Services. On April 1, 2009, Mr. Landry became the fifth Executive Director in the 85 year history of Lena Pope in Fort Worth, Texas. In July 2007, Landry accepted the Governor of Nebraska’s invitation to lead the state’s Division of Children and Family Services. The Division and its 2,000 employees are responsible for Nebraska’s child welfare, juvenile justice, economic assistance and child support enforcement programs. Landry’s appointment as Nebraska’s top child and family services official was the result of his successful work as President and CEO of Omaha-based Child Saving Institute (7/04-7/07). The 115-year-old child services agency provides a continuum of seventeen programs designed to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect. Before moving to Nebraska, Landry spent 4½ years as President and CEO of Houston-based Spaulding for Children, a social service non-profit agency dedicated to building and sustaining strong, nurturing families for children who have endured abuse, neglect or abandonment. Among the programs offered by Spaulding for Children were Adoption, Foster Care, Post-Adoption and CPS Mediation Services. Prior to entering the field of child and family services, Landry spent thirteen years leading several treasury and finance, planning, logistics, risk management and business development projects and initiatives for Conoco, Inc., the international oil and energy company. In 1985, Landry received a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from Lamar University. He earned his Master’s of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1986.
